Tips from campers about Twisp, WA
- Art1046__633 Be sure to plan some time in Winthrop, especially at Sheris ice cream/candy store if you like homemade goodies.6 months ago Riverbend RV Park
- JacquieB Winthrop is a must see town, very unique7 months ago Riverbend RV Park
- Suzanne O Winthropwestern styled town. We hiked the Meadowlark trail on the east side of the river, about 2.5 miles, very nice. Best trails at Sun Mountain lodge but they dont allow dogs. Twispwe loved. Cinnamon Twisp Bakery, 1908 Bourbon and BBQ, Saturday farmers market, organic grocery downtown, Confluence Gallery, Blue Star Coffee Roasters. Hanks has everything else including gas and propane. Rode our bikes to town and took beautiful and quiet 12 mile side trip. Go west on Second, it turns into Twisp River rd, then left on Poormans Creek Rd. Turn right on Poormans Creek Cutoff Rd which goes down into the valley and crosses the Twisp River on a picturesque bridge, then up the other side of the valley and make a right onto Twisp River Rd to return.10 months ago Riverbend RV Park
