- Savvy Sojourner Fossil Butte National Monument is very interesting and we all loved doing the Junior Ranger there. We also toured the first JC Penny store as well as the Penny home/museum. Kemmerer is quaint and the people here are all very friendly!2 years ago Foothills RV Park

Mt. Rainer is about one hour away and is worth the time and effort to visit.

Nice clean park with full hook-ups but laundry facility is the only amenity. Natural setting with Mountain View. We camped at Rainier View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

“Great views at a very reasonable price!”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
We had a site on the top tier and had great views of the mountain. No amenities here, but nice, quiet and great views. We camped at Rainier View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Do not follow your Garmin. Use google map to find the entrance to the park - it's directly off highway 161. But be careful turning in, as it is on a hill and hard to see oncoming traffic.
