Tips from campers about Dungeness Recreation Area Campground
- Jim Biermann It is well worth the hike out to the New Dungeness Lighthouse. It is a 10 mile hike round trip, so plan accordingly. Once out there, it is a great place for a picnic and there are volunteers who give a tour of the lighthouse, as well as a small museum about the lighthouse.3 years ago Dungeness Recreation Area Campground

Dockside Grill served us one of the absolute best meals we have ever had. It isnt cheap, but so worth the splurge! Shopping, restaurants and such are about 15-20 minutes away.
When departing, I'd recommend navigating to the Carlsborg intersection with a traffic signal to more safely get back on Hwy 101.
