“Oasis in land of treeless farm land”
Nightly Rate: $67 USD
Trees, grass, lakeside, quiet except for bird song despite being adjacent to major expressway and freight line. We camped at Sprague Lake Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Bring everything you need! There are NO opportunities to run to the store here! There are not any stores.
Tips from campers about Sprague Lake Resort
- freckles1219 Avoca is kind of neat to walk around with it's old and well maintained architecture. Within a short 1/2 mile walk from the fairground you can sit down to a steak dinner at The Olde Main St Grille for a very reasonable price.8 years ago Pottawattamie County Fair Campground

- Erez_652 As you come in even if the park looks full dont give up. go to the back side and there are sites that are in an open space without the shade of trees but legit with hookup. Also there is a dump station at the entrance. There is a misleading sign saying no dumping but I think its meant for non-guests. The important thing is this is a CASH only site. Dont forget to bring cash. If you dont have it there is an ATM but the post office and Im willing g to bet that at the dollar store but the entrance to town where a gas station is.7 months ago Pottawattamie County Fair Campground
