Tips from campers about Thorp, WA
- BandD Nice to drive up into mountains, but DO NOT attempt without excellent maps. Most are not labelled and they twist and cross constantly. We have driven it before, but got on such bad roads for our Honda SUV that we had to stop and examine several times, etc. Got so lost we literally were discussing that we had bottles of water, protein bars and light jackets (for blankets) if it got dark before we got out!9 months ago Taneums
- Tim_343 This campground is walk-in during most of the year, but can be driven into during the summer months when the ford of Taneum Creek is open. It has small sites and limited turnarounds and is suitable only for truck campers and really small trailers. And you may still scrape a bumper getting through the ford. Other1 year ago Taneums
