Tip for Other Campers:
Get what you need before coming up. There are no stores near by and use your cell phone prior as there is NO signal up there. Great place to stay if you wish to visit the Mt. St. Helens area.

Nightly Rate: $35 USD
RV campsites were tight and close together. The office was closed all the time. We camped at Kid Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about Kid Valley Campground
- xc99tour Old town Glenwood Springs is a must, and the hot springs are soothing and relaxing. Ride the bike path (you can get e-bike rentals in Glenwood Springs). During the summer months you can ride rafts down the river, there is a company at the resort that can provide you any level of rafting you want.6 months ago Glenwood Canyon Resort
- M&G Rolling Nice bike path along the river through the canyon. We saw 4 long horn sheep grazing along it. Downtown Glenwood springs has good grocery options and other stores. The Frida Mexican restaraunt was very good.8 months ago Glenwood Canyon Resort

The park was easy to find. It is located right off of Spirit Lake Highway It is the closest park to Mount St. Helens. There is pavement all the way until you arrive at the park. Signage is adequate....

Pros: Location for exploring Mount Saint Helen could not have been any better. And there is a highly recommended cafe a short walk from the park. We only had the Mountain Cobbler and it was excellent....
