White Salmon (5 min drive) many nice boutique eateries. More to do across river in Hood River - but toll bridge across Columbia - was $8 each way for us in a Class B.

The bridge from Oregon is SCARY. Lanes VERY narrow, if cueing in from West, Tunnels very low

“Great location for exploring the Gorge area”

Camped in a 39 foot motorhome. Small but very well maintained campground. Its on the north side of the river and sits between highway 14 and a major railroad line so it's not the quietest campground....
