Infestation of yellow jackets. Later at night we were swarmed with European Hornets. Staff had set traps for yellow jackets, but no mention (warning) at check in. Staff was clueless about the hornets....

Do not directly follow Google Maps as you are near the park if you are driving from the East It will direct you to drive to a gravel road that is very narrow. We were lucky that there were no oncoming...

Tip for Other Campers:
Windy (and pretty) but good roads whether you enter thru Cairo or Ellsboro exit off of I-50. But GPS doesnt actually take you to this campground; better signage would be helpful.Didnt use The restroom or the showers, but they are a bit dated and could be improved. My site had the creek running behind it; very pretty.

Tip for Other Campers:
The drive into the campground from the town of Harrisville is a great example of how windy West Virginia roads can be. I had to pay attention as I drove my 26 foot class-c back thru the "holler" ......... While we saw larger rigs in the campground, just be prepared for drive very carefully!

Tip for Other Campers:
Do not use GPS it will take you down a gravel one lane road. Take route 50 to ellenboro or Cario exits and follow the signs. All roads leading to this park are very curvy, but worth the drive.
