Tips from campers about Camp Cacapon
- campingdog There is a new dump station / water fill located behind the laundry mat / car wash on north end of town. $15.00 to dump and $7.00 for first 150 gal of water. Set up to self pay with charge card.4 years ago Fremont Lake
- rvlife_6681ea595f055 I have come to Fremont Lake for over 40 years. Nearby Pinedale has gotten too pricey. Still there is enough charm and scenery left to warrant a trip.9 months ago Fremont Lake
- Dal 48 Spent 3 days there, fun time!4 years ago Fremont Lake

Recommend Lot 12 Public House restaurant in nearby Berkeley Springs. Great price fixed upscale restaurant with wraparound porch thats very dog friendly for camping travelers.
Also enjoyed Buddylous in Hancock. Eclectic restaurant that allows dogs indoors! Tons of character. Fun experience.

Tip for Other Campers:
The campground is just a short and scenic drive away from Berkeley Springs. While we were there we stopped at the Berkeley Springs Brewing Co (30 min drive) which has excellent craft beers and some delicious BBQ. We also visited Cacapon Mountain Brewing which is downtown and had a dark lager and brown that were great. They also have food there, though we...
