“Very nice state park”
Nightly Rate: $14 USD
Very nice state park, well laid out and easy to navigate. I believe all sites are FHU. Some smaller sites are not to level but others are very large flat. Lots of trails to walk, tennis courts and a...

Beautiful park but in need of attention. Spacious camp sites in a lovely setting. But bath house is run down, trails not maintained and some sites are muddy in wet weather. Be sure to enter via Hwy...

“Quiet and relaxing with great hiking trails”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
We stayed in site #1, enjoyed listening to the creek running along side and all the birds. A storm came through the weekend before we arrived so lots of downed trees on the trails but the campground...

Tip for Other Campers:
Hike Coal Mine trail (starts at site #2) and loops around behind the campground. Town of Logan is nearby for ice, charcoal or other supplies - these are not available at the campground. Winding drive up to the lodge offers beautiful views!
“Peaceful, matured lots, sounds of the creek through the campground ”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Simply great layout with full hookups. Lots are large enough to hold 40ers. The sounds of the creek throughout the campground offers tranquility. Please review the description of the state park and...

Tip for Other Campers:
Internet is spotty because of the mountains surrounding the park. Enough good food locations within 10 miles. Walmart and other stores within a short 20 minute drive.

Sprawling state park in the Mountains of West Virginia, near the town of Logan. Challenging hiking trails, clearly marked with degree of difficulty noted. The park boasts a history museum,...

Tip for Other Campers:
Coming from the South, our GPS took us through the mountains on some very tight winding roads shared with coal mining trucks. Extreme caution taking this route especially hauling a trailer.
