- BKeeney Highly recommend visiting House on the Rock and Taliesin which are both about 45 minutes away. House on the Rock is...bizarre to say the least...but interesting to see. Taliesin is Frank Lloyd Wright's Wisconsin home. Also recommend Hawks Mill winery in Browntown. They had an excellent unbaked Chardonnay3 years ago Wolf Creek Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
Hike Coal Mine trail (starts at site #2) and loops around behind the campground. Town of Logan is nearby for ice, charcoal or other supplies - these are not available at the campground. Winding drive up to the lodge offers beautiful views!

Tip for Other Campers:
Internet is spotty because of the mountains surrounding the park. Enough good food locations within 10 miles. Walmart and other stores within a short 20 minute drive.

Tip for Other Campers:
Coming from the South, our GPS took us through the mountains on some very tight winding roads shared with coal mining trucks. Extreme caution taking this route especially hauling a trailer.
