Tip for Other Campers:
There are many things to do, nice trails, lots of wildlife, fishing lake and greenbrier river. The 77 mile greenbrier rail trail is accessible from the campground. The national observatory is 30 miles away and a nice day trip as well as the steam excursions at Cass senic railroad.

“No campsite map, poor directions ”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
The park itself is very pretty and the campsites have plenty of room and secluded, however upon arriving the main office had closed early so I was left to figure out where to go on my own. We stayed...

Make sure your tow rig is up to the task of going up and down the steep grades in the area!
“Starlink and e-bikes”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
No T-mobile here but my Starlink worked in riverside site 8. Maybe the least attractive site in this very beautiful and quiet campground. I doubt it would work in other sites because of the tall...

Tip for Other Campers:
There is no cell service as you are in the 13,000 square mile RFI zone provided to the Green Bank observatory. Closest access to cell service was Marlinton, about 15 miles away. Nice quaint town with a coffee shop that serves expresso and lattes at a very reasonable price. Expresso shots $1, latte's $4.5
