Call ahead to ask about water levels in the lake. No sense bringing your boat if the lake's too low to access.

- clf dll The road from Elk Garden to the campground has trees sticking into and overhanging the road. Overhanging trees brushed the 12' 9" RV roofline. Be prepared to drive narrow, twisty roads with grades up to 9%. The nearest store with any selection is over 45 minutes away. Be sure to bring what you need for your stay.
