We stayed here to visit Devil and Mirror lakes. You are literally a few miles from Devil lake here. Site was level. You share a water line but no issue there. It had full hookups. I did not see a...

Tip for Other Campers:
Devils lake is a few miles. Very beautiful. Wisconsin dells were about 18 miles away. Easy access here to food and services.

- Hamillds The location is incredible. Near Devil's Lake and Baraboo allows for quick access to other entertainment like Tumbled Rock Restaurant and Balanced Rock Winery where you can hear live music. During the rain we went to Circus World Museum and saw a live circus. My 5 & 7 year old loved it.9 months ago Skillet Creek Campground
- MEdwardR The House on the Rock, about 45 minutes away, sounds cheesy but it is worth it. Allow 2+ hours to see it all. The Wisconsin Dells Riverwalk is a great concept, but trees have overgrown the views, and you must drive past innumerable water parks to get to it. Not worth it. Devils Lake SP, 10 minutes away, has a decent lakeside trail to stretch your legs but if you're out-of-state, expect to fork over $16 per car per day to access. Mirror Lake, 20 minutes away, near Wisconsin Dells, requires a calm zero wind day for best effect. The Circus Museum in Baraboo, 10 minutes away, is very much worth it if you time your visit to see the Big Top Show then the Musical Show then cap it off with watching The Human Cannonball. Even a grumpy old man begins smiling and giggling before the day is over.10 months ago Skillet Creek Campground

“Good Base for Local Sites”
Nightly Rate: $64 USD
This was a good base for us to see House on the Rock, the actual Dells and the Baraboo Circus Museum. Pricing is borderline uncomfortable, but this facility is more of a "Jellystone"...
