Be sure to check out the museums in Racine and Kenosha. They are worth the 25-minute drive.
Also, find an O & H Danish Bakery and pick up a Kiringle.
If you are hungry for a Chicago-style pizza, try Giordano's in Racine.

Tip for Other Campers:
Burlington has an excellent pizza/Italian place called Napoli Restaurant and Pizzeria. All fresh ingredients and theyve given the kids some dough to play with while they wait. Great walking paths and trails at Bong State Park. Bong also as a little bigger pond and beach with playground for the kids.
