“Great City Park on a Lake”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD
This is a great little city park. Sites were spaced nice and easy access to the lake. We camped at Veterans Memorial Park in a Motorhome.

“Beautiful lake”

This place has everything. If you fish bring your boat, if you atv/utv bring that. There is a nice stretch of beach plus the lake water is very clear. We camped at Veterans Memorial Park in a Motorhom....

Tip for Other Campers:
Crandon is a cute little town and you can utv there. Right down the street is a place called Charlies and the food is great.
Tips from campers about Veterans Memorial Park
- Rick & Janine If you need firewood, we passed a "$5 camp fire wood" handmade sign about a quarter mile or so from the park entrance and decided to stop. After following the sign through a residential area to a beautiful home, a lovely young man greeted us and set us up with a perfectly stacked, dry, generous amount of wood. Delightful! Definitely stop at Dogwood Canyon if you have time, and bring or rent bikes. We absolutely loved our day trip there and enjoyed a wonderful meal at their onsite restaurant. 5 stars! If renting a boat, I'd recommend a drive to Indian Point. Much better prices and options for a day use. Other2 years ago Baxter Campground

Nice county park, plenty of space between sites but there arent any trees or shrubs for privacy. There are some lakeside sites. Water is available at the sites (shared with neighbor) and dump station...
