If you have a dog(s) that doesn't like the sound of guns being shot make sure you check with the park for their hunting season calendar or your stay will also consist of the pooch not wanting to venture outside very often. There was no camp store on site.

Nice hiking trails. Mowed 6 feet wide, mostly level. We camped at Richard Bong State Recreation Area in a Fifth Wheel.
