Try the bar for food. Pretty good and nice people....

Only stayed one night as it was along my way home. However, very beautiful site and there is a bar and food and other amenities that make it attractive. Would be interested in visiting the site...

Tips from campers about Whitetail Ridge Campground
- Freech Fossil tour was good. Make sure to look for the 1/3 mile trail from the campground to the fossil site. Do not walk the road to the site! Hot and hilly. Ghost town mine was very interesting.9 months ago Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park
- Team Tiegs Ranger guided tour of the fossil site at 10:00 and 2:00 is an easy walk from the campground.1 year ago Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park
