- Doug Collier Didnt go out to eat much but the Rock Island Market has good food for a local spot.3 days ago Rock Island State Park
- mmcally08 Rock island trolley stop is a great ice cream place. There is a DG and bbq place along with a bait shop and restaurant all within 5 minutes. Theres a beach area and boat dock in the park. Tip for Other Campers:
Wautoma is a large enough town to find restaurants, groceries, and any medical needs. Since Ice Age trail is nearby, there's lots of hiking opportunities around that trail. We also recommend checking out Roche-A-Cri state park which has a 302 step stairway to the top of a rock/mound and you can see for many miles on a clear day.
Nice grassy spots with shade & sun. Nice pool & swimming pond. We camped at Lake of the Woods Campground in a Travel Trailer.
