-You are almost in the center of the Elroy/Sparta bike trail, with 2 tunnels one way and one tunnel the other way. We drove each direction on separate days.-The Kickapoo river canoeing is just 15 minutes to the south. We did the 3 hour rental trip for $50. We do not get the chance to canoe very often but this is one of the best canoe outing and...

Tips from campers about Village of Wilton Campground and Park Pool

Wiblazer -You are almost in the center of the Elroy/Sparta bike trail, with 2 tunnels one way and one tunnel the other way. We drove each direction on separate days. -The Kickapoo river canoeing is just 15 minutes to the south. We did the 3 hour rental trip for $50. We do not get the chance to canoe very often but this is one of the best canoe outing and sceneries in Wisconsin. We used Driftys for the rental and although there hadn't been any real rain for 2 months, we still didn't have depth problems. -15 minutes to the north is Tomah. Murphys on Main is an excellent restaurant and you must have the Old Fashion Shake(alcoholic). -La Crosse is an hour to the west, for more hiking, golfing, and we did an escape room at the mall. -If you like motorcycling, this area is rolling beauty.
