Tip for Other Campers:
Nice walk around the lake, some paved, some are not, but all accessible. When using GPS, be sure the address is on SOUTH Park Road or you may end up on the other side of the lake. Jennings & Co. In Wisconsin Rapids is a great spot to eat!
“A few sites are oddly designed and may be backwards. May not always have a gravel pad to park on. ”
Nightly Rate: $28 USD
Very nicely wooded park with old white pine trees. Makes for tight roads but all navigable with my truck and 35 trailer. We camped at South Wood County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips from campers about South Wood County Park
- Shannon Star Morman Across the street from Dollar General. Pet friendly. Good, solid people running this park make it a drama free place to stay.2 years ago Outdoor Living RV Park
- weighit Grocery store was about 3 miles away, plenty of places to eat, some within walking distance.2 years ago Outdoor Living RV Park
- Kimberly Parker The campground is quiet and easy to navigate with large rigs. We had a 30 amp pull thru site with towed vehicle of approximately 55 feet in total length and did not have to disconnect. The Shiloh Park is within walking distance and a nice place to visit after a long day of driving.6 months ago Outdoor Living RV Park

“The Orioles were amazing!”
Nightly Rate: $28 USD
Another great county park along a lake. A few of the sites had a boat beaching area (which cost an extra $3), which is what we had for our site #41, but we didn't need the lake access. Although we fit...

Very nice place, nicely spaced sites, open understory with lots of mature trees. Most of the electric sires have gravel pads. Might need to level side to side a bit. Non electric sites have no pads,...
