We spent 2 days at Buffalo Bill museum. It was very well done. We enjoyed the shops in Cody. Unfortunately, Trail Town was closed after Oct 1. Also the potable water at the campground is shut off after Oct 1 , but the ranger told us about a water fill/dump station by the airport , so we were able to fill our tank there.

Tip for Other Campers:
Take a quick tour of Buffalo Bill Dam. Quite interesting. Also took time for the Buffalo Bill museum. Proud Cut Saloon had good food, nice atmosphere and nice beer selection. Adults only.

Make sure to visit the Buffalo Bill Center of the West a short drive away in Cody. It's 5 museums in one, and they give you two days to visit with your admission. Also, a must see if the Buffalo Bill Dam right down from the campground. There are a lot of places to eat in town. The Cody Rodeo ends in August if that is on your list of things to do. Very...
