“Perfect for our overnight needs!!!”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Park is small and convenient. Has very clean facilities. Pull thru sites for overnighters like us, 40 ft. With tow, no need to disconnect. Very nice and helpful ownership. We camped at Prairie View...

“Functional campground”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
This place is not what you would call fancy. Its scraped out of the hard prairie ground, there are long-term residents, and there are shipping containers and work equipment near the office. But the...

Tips from campers about Prairie View Campground
- lthrasher Wal-Mart(s), Publix, Winn-Dixie, and various local groceries within a 10 minute drive. For Motorhome I'd plan to fuel anywhere else before/after arrival in Dade County. Open Roads locations shown close (RaceTrac) were not really a great in and out, checked them out in Jeep after arrival. Right at an hour to get out to Key Biscayne across bridge. Highly recommend. Great parks with beaches. Hobie Island has awesome street food truck vendors in parking lots. About an hour to get to Key Largo over US 1 mostly one lane bridge. Explored Keys in Jeep, not motorhome. In spots, mosquitos are a thing - look for 40% Deet and you'll be OK. "Wearables" like the coil bracelets are 100% useless regardless of strength. If you're going to be in a heavy mosquito area, spray and maybe some wipes all that will work, they are trained to find that one spot of exposed untreated skin. In the campground itself, ants (as I would expect) were a presence but some spray around the perimeter did a good job at keeping that to a minimum after we thought to do that. Local drivers are 100% insane, so watch that. "Merge" means do the best to out run, out maneuver, act stupid, and do their best to take off your bumpers. Lines on the road designating travel lanes are merely a suggestion, they'll "put it where it'll fit" at any given moment, regardless of traffic volume. There's ZERO respect for motorhome size, weight, etc. I've travelled probably 45 of the 50 biggest cities in this country and I just thought Boston, LA, and New York drivers were bad until I drove for two weeks around Miami. They are hands down the Worst, most disrespectful, and belligerent people behind the wheel you can imagine - especially taking every opportunity to immediately blare their horns each time a red light turns green, just in case the person in the front of the line just happens to be looking away at the change. So be prepared for all that. Stay Calm, Trust Jesus, and just Chill when driving.
- LRCrouch Entertainment and shopping is easily reached. You can select from CostCo, South Beach, Key Largo and Coconut Grove.

“Good for a one night stay”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
We stopped here for one night en route to South Dakota. It is near the highway, and there is a fair amount of road noise. Several of the other inhabitants were obviously there as temporary workers, as...

We ran the fan all night to damp out the road noise. The town of Lusk is very close, and it has options for groceries, gas and other facilities....
“Dying campground. No evidence of any maintenance.”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Well, lucky it was only a one night stay. Although a nice guy, the owner was less than coherent at check-in. No grass has been mown in weeks to months. Our site was covered in dog droppings. If you...

“Lusk Great Town”
Nightly Rate: $37 USD
Easy to get in and out with minimal effort. I would stay again the next time in that area. We camped at Prairie View Campground in a Motorhome.
