Tips from campers about Rawlins KOA Journey
- DWFreidell Smithville is nearby and has a few restraints. Otherwise, this state park is dead as far as offering anything more than a campsite. Even the hiking trails were not maintained and over grown. Pitiful example of Tx Parks and wildlife not doing their job and maintaining these State Parks.9 months ago Buescher State Park

This place is fine to stop in and have a full hook up on your way past. It is basically a gravel parking lot. We camped at Rawlins KOA Journey in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Rawlings is a cute and interesting town so be sure to stay an extra day or two to check it out, especially the Carbon County Museum.
