Tip for Other Campers:
We took the 65 mile drive to Skagway to catch the Alaska Fjordlines fast ferry to Haines and on to Juneau. Canadian customs doesn't open till 8 AM so you can barely get to the dock in Skagway at 7:45 Alaska time. Highly recommend the ferry ride as they provided a muffin and apple for a morning snack and a chowder and a piece of bread and cookie for dinner...
