Tip for Other Campers:
Visitor info center is great. They do several tours you can take. The walking tour of town was wonderful. Diamond Tooth Gerties was great fun. Go early for a front seat table and they have food you can purchase while you wait that wasnt bad. The bar is cash only but the fountain sodas are unlimited refills. There is also gambling for those who want.

- Marlis321 Make sure you drive up to the Midnight Dome (about a 7 mile, all paved road) just down the road from the Bonanza. Take a picnic lunch or just go and look around, it's a great place to see the whole town of Dawson and much of the nearby river system. “Right beside the Yukon river. ”

Nice sites with full hookup (30 amp). Right beside the Yukon river. A general store with groceries and near by restaurants. Great stop. We camped at Bonanza Gold Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.
