Question: Have a 28 ft 5th wheel. Looking for most quiet, private spot for August 2025. Thanks!
Answer:
Not sure how "private" you expect from a public campground, but will say this is a very nice place with lots of trees. All the sites do have neighbors fairly close but it is quiet....
Question: Is there a check-in/check-out time? I see several tips saying first come first served, get there early. What's too early to show up?
Answer:
The simple answer to your question is no. If you show up and find an empty spot with no "Site Occupied" sign then it is open for use. You can go to the office and, if it is not open, simply use one of their envelopes to pay for and claim your site. Then go and park on the site you just paid for. Keep in mind that they only accept cash and personal checks for payment. NO CREDIT CARDS!!...
