Stayed two nights. It was about a 20-minute drive to the stockyards in Fort Worth.

We went to the Alamo, Riverwalk, Tower of the Americas and the town market. Mi Tierra has the best authentic Mexican food we've ever eaten.

Tip for Other Campers:
We went to the Texas State Aquarium and the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi which is only about 30 minutes away. Snoopy's Pier in Corpus Christi, Pier 77 in Rockport , and The Moondog Seaside Eatery, Fulton, all have excellent sea food. The Butter Churn in Aransas Pass has an excellent buffet.
