“Okay for overnight stop”
Nightly Rate: $60 USD
Crowded sites but clean and well maintained. Convenient to have washers and dryers that used debt/credit cards instead of coins. They had three fensed in areas for dogs. We camped at Cowtown RV Park...

Really wish the RV parks would install storm shelters. Severe weather occurred while we were here. No where to shelter, neighbors said to drive to Walmart. Nice pull thru spot, 123, across from the...

Tips from campers about Cowtown RV Park
- Orlando & Lisa Location was convenient with gas and rock city not far. Due to weather we didn't get to do to much. Our dog loved it there as he made friends and was able to run off leach at the boat launch area (not the park as that would be against the rules). People were nice. Was informed they sold the park and it was going to become a housing development with a new park to open in its place. I would definitely check out the new park when it opens. Only problem was the dump station was on a road our trailer would not fit down so be prepared for that. We were fine as we only stayed 2 nights.1 year ago Shellmound RV Resort & Campground
- jeffs Love's and Speedway right off the exit, about 2 miles from campground. Close to Downtown Chattanooga, Lookout Mtn. And attractions. Great pizza and wine at Lookout winery in Guild TN. Just about 7 miles away and never have to get on the hwy. They Import their flour from Tuscany and recipes are from family in Italy. Absolutely delicious.1 year ago Shellmound RV Resort & Campground
- coosa At the same exit there is a Love's Truck Stop.9 years ago Shellmound RV Resort & Campground

Mostly pull-thrus. Lots of trash cans near sites ( no long walk to dumpster). Nice spacious concrete pads. Large pull through although utilitie locations made it hard to locate and save room for...

“Concrete pads are pretty slim. Steps were on the grass .”
Nightly Rate: $54 USD
The park is near the freeway, but our site was toward the back of the park, so we didn't notice much noise. Sites are fairly close together. Unisex bathrooms. Stayed here to avoid some DFW traffic...

“Budget friendly campground”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD
Stayed 2 weeks. Right off the interstate so could hear traffic noise. Close to the big city and the small towns were close and nice. Campsites were on the narrow side but weather wasnt nice enough to...
