Question: Anybody know if I can fill my camper water tank at Shawnee State Park campground? Thanks
Answer:
Yes. There's potable water at the top of the campground, as you are coming in, near the dump station. Unless they've upgraded the facilities, the pressure is very low so it'll take a long time to fill your fresh tank....
Question: Would I need to worry about things disappearing while I was gone?
Answer:
Nope. I've never had an issue at this nor any other park. I do always secure anything I would not want to lose, just in case....
Question: Is this a year round campground.
Answer:
Lock 30 sold several years ago. It's no longer a campground. It's an expensive tiny-house resort. If you look at the top of the listing here you'll see it's listed as Permanently Closed....
