There has been new development in the area but nothing that is bad (was there again October of this year). This is "in the city" (Rio Rancho, suburb of ABQ) but still quiet and no crime while we were there (which was almost a year). The jail is on the other road but still felt really safe. Even with a young teen kid, we were not concerned. Beautiful views of Sandia though! And because you are "in the city", everything is conveniently nearby for shopping and dining. If long term, only rv park we found that has ability to get cable internet through local provider (great for those that work from home and need high-speed internet). We typically stay at upper mid-range priced parks and were happy with our stay here....

Depends if you will be monthly or daily/weekly. If monthly (located on the back side closest to the highways) then yes, it is all the time because of the semi trucks and they LOVE using their jake-brakes to slow down. Summertime is somewhat better because you have your A/Cs on but during the cooler months it sucks. For the daily/weekly spots, you are in the middle or up near the front road. If long term, I would really consider other options (which aren't many and that is why we have to be here)....
