Tip for Other Campers:
Rafted with Orange Torpedo - highly recommend them. And we happened to be in town for the Hot Summer Nights Festival, which was fun to attend.
Really nice place to stay. The motorhome sites were large, level and ours was shady. The campground is kept up really nicely. We camped at Dolores River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
A couple of tips: the RV waterfront sites are on a trout pond, not the river. They don't have individual fire rings at each site, but do have a communal fire pit if you want to make new friends. There is a smaller camping area that can handle RV's 25'; next time we would do that as it puts you closer to the park area along the river.
This campground has decent, clean facilities: level sites with water and electric and a dumping station available. All sites have a covered picnic tables and a fire ring. There just isn't much reason...

Well maintained and managed mountaintop campground. Excellent views and facilities. We camped at Campfire Lodgings in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Nice hiking the Gorge. The campsites on the South side of the park are closest to the main, busy road. It did quiet down after dark.
