Tip for Other Campers:
This campground is only about a half mile off highway 191 on the Missouri River and near the CMR Refuge. It is approximately 28 miles to the small town of Roy for gas or groceries. Slippery Ann on the CMR refuge offers elk viewing in September and first part of October.

The highway to reach Prune Creek Campground and some other campgrounds in this area are at the top of an 8 % grade coming from the Dayton direction and a 10 % grade coming from Lovell.
