Tips from campers about Winifred, MT
- dant123 Anyone considering a trip to the James Kipp Campground needs to be aware of how remote this location really is and come fully supplied with food, water and fuel for the duration of their stay. There are no facilities for 40 miles or more in any direction. Also, there are no utility hook-ups. There is no cell phone reception. There is no internet connection. This is not an appropriate campsite for "glamping".3 years ago James Kipp Campground
- kami6348 There is really nothing nearby. Bring everything you need.3 years ago James Kipp Campground
- Grannylyn This campground is only about a half mile off highway 191 on the Missouri River and near the CMR Refuge. It is approximately 28 miles to the small town of Roy for gas or groceries. Slippery Ann on the CMR refuge offers elk viewing in September and first part of October.3 years ago James Kipp Campground
