Tip for Other Campers:
Beautiful area - day trips to Navajo Lake, Vallecito Lake, Lemon Lake, Durango, Mesa Verde, Chaco Canyon, etc. Something for everyone. Aztec Ruins is 1/2 mile down the road. Great New Mexican food at Rubia's about 3 miles away. Park has access to the Animas River - beautiful dry camping sites under huge cottonwoods.
