“Great Snowbird Spot- Relaxing Hot Springs and Great People”
Nightly Rate: $65 USD
This is our third stay here, and our longest. We come to escape the cold and grey of PNW winters. Sun, sunsets, and great people make this a nice place to visit for a while. A true resort atmosphere...

Tip for Other Campers:
There are a variety of RVing spots to chose from and varying prices, there are ownership opportunities too. There are a lot of park models a few mobiles and doublewides. But, your best bet is to come and check it out to see if the vibe is right for you. This location is outside of the greater Palm Springs area, but close enough to go and visit frequently....

We have come to this National Monument before but did not camp there and swore we would come back to camp in the park. We booked a site in later January for an early February stay so snagging a site...

Ajo is best for supplies. You can try for basics in Lukeville but it is a border town and inundated with border patrol. We did see some of the border crossing happening, we were initially concerned but in the end felt that was not an issue. We would however, not recommend giving any rides to strangers!

“Fun, true Resortatmosphere.”
Nightly Rate: $85 USD
All sites except a hand full of pull-thrus are on the water. We stayed in a back-in site, on the Laguna Madre side looking out on a large expanse of water to Padre Island. These are the best sites....

Tip for Other Campers:
Drive over to the Padre Island National Seashore it is about 1/2 hour away. Great place to enjoy views of the Gulf of Mexico. There is a botanical garden down the street.
