I go to camp Kernville a few times a year. It's a small campground so there's no bad spot. What I love about it is the private beach, the little town & the ladies in the office are always friendly....

Question:
How far over the border is the park & how difficult is it to navigate hwys in Mexico?...
Waterfront site was everything! The road to get to the ATV area was closed but we just rode in the field across from the entrance. This is definitely one of our favorite places. We camped at Arizona...

Oh and the mini mart down the street has a little of everything. Or family dollar a few more ticks down the street has everything else. Our site had red ants & flying roaches all over. But picked up roach motels from family dollar & now their all dead.

I have a 38ft travel trailer & coming from Southern California. How are the roads to this park? Are they narrow & winding or open highway?...
