Question: I called this campground yesterday. It's located on Luke AFB. I was told only active duty military personnel and military retirees are authorized to use the campground. Are the 2 people that submitted comments active duty or retired?
Answer:
My understanding is that “military only” camping has very recently expanded to include veterans with service related disabilities. I read this recently in a VA newsletter/email, but can’t document it further....
