Question: Are dogs allowed on the beach?
Answer:
Not in the park. There are two designated dog beaches on the oceanside of the island, one of which is about 5 min east of the park entrance gate. No dogs on the beach anywhere else....
Question: Is there overflow parking? Looking at satellite images, it looks like there is a parking lot at the check-in station.
Answer:
There were about 10-15 parking spots along the east end of the E Loop, opposite sites E32-34, where folks were parking trucks and cars. The campground website on recreation.gov states "Overflow parking is available; however, it is limited and not guaranteed. "...
