The town of Lavonia is cute. We grabbed a coffee, and walked around. Dilks grocery will have everything you need and their meat market is great. Gumlog brewery is a wine for a finely crafted beer. Verizon is very little service with 1 bar; great for disconnecting.

This park is centrally located to several towns with opportunities of activities. They have two huge fenced in dog parks one with a kiddie pool for the puppers. Our dogs had a blast. Make sure you have everything you need as the closest place is Calder and that is about 8 miles away. Calder does have a restaurant and bar. There is ice available.
