Question: How friendly is it for big rigs? We are long and wide and do not have a tight turning radius.
Answer:
Kmom: Not knowing your length or width, my response is qualified. We passed through for an overnighter in our 41 foot class A towing our 2-door Jeep. We were directed to site D-1 and easily manuevered into the site, and did not need to unhook the Jeep. We have slideouts on both sides and had room to spare. But I have stayed in parks with much more space around the RV; and others that were so tight I wondered if my tail swing would be an issue departing! (The KOA in Grants, NM comes to mind. Yikes! They pack you in there.) So Santa Fe KOA site spacing would best be classified as "nearby". Just be sure to enter your rig size, etc in the reservation details and you *should* be okay. But if you are not comfortable with the online booking (it has its pros and cons), always call the office to explain your rig configuration. Happy Trails!...
“Smartest RV site configurations I've seen yet! Huge pull through sites that feel wide open. ”

OK RV Park is more than just OK. Despite it clearly being a work-in-process as it slowly overtakes the former Buzzards Gulch MHP into a modern RV park, the developers of OK RV Park are doing it right....

Tip for Other Campers:
Romo's Cafe for Mexican food was delicious for dinner. You're 25 minutes from Petrified National Park entrances; either the north entrance off of I-40 or the south entrance off of US 180. Great loop drive for the day (two days are best) to visit the Painted Desert and Petrified National Park.
Question: How is the mexican restaurant?
Answer:
Hi CyndiT, We did a take out dinner once. It was okay. It wasn't terrible or wonderful that it made a lasting impression; if you know what I mean. Sorry. There's nothing else as far as restaurants around there unless you go into Kanab. But the park was awesome....
“Cowboy Cookout NOT available this time. Better planning next trip! Pork ribs are to die for usually.”
Nightly Rate: $46 USD
We have stayed here many times in the past. But this time was a little disappointing. Not only because of no BBQ pork ribs (they stop offering them after the hot air balloon festival), but the site...

It's a long drive, but Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site is worth every mile. Perhaps we got lucky that day, but the ranger of the day, Alvis Burbank, was truly a special person. Mr. Burbank is Navajo and extremely knowledgeable about his culture, and the importance of us knowing the history of Hubbell Trading Post and how it is all connected to...

Answer:
Like the others have answered, it wasn't that noticable since the park is not right next to the interstate or tracks. But I'd have to add that it may depend on your RV and how well its built or insulated....
