“Small campground along a lake”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
This campground was okay for an overnight stay. We camped at George L. Smith State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
This is a small campground which is open and grassy with a few trees in the middle, while the outside loop along the lake was more shaded. There was not a lot of vegetation between campsites. Most of the sites were too close together for my taste and did not have much vegetation between them.

Shenandoah National Park is about a 45 minute drive, but we'll worth it for views and hiking.

We ordered vegetarian pizza from the camp hosts and thought it was good. Lots of vegetables and delivered hot.
The campground is just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, so very convenient for exploring the parkway.
