This is one of the nicest parks I've seen located in such small area, I'm not even sure it's a town. The sites are gravel and wide enough, and very long so that you could fit a large Class A with a...

Tip for Other Campers:
Moab is about 30 miles away. Arches National Park and Canyonland National Park is just north of Moab and a "must see" if you're in the neighborhood. There are canyons nearby for 4wheelers, although a car or truck would be fine in most places. Antelope have been seen wandering around the area. This is a beautiful area to explore!

This was a great Forest Service campground. From my site, I had a great view of the lake. My pull-thru site (D7) was long and spacious. We camped at Soldier Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a small park, areas for small RVs, tents and vans separate from larger RVs. Hiking to the falls is definitely required, the volcanic rocks are sculptured into rounded, convoluted boulders....

Guess I should have read the reviews first!! I pulled into what looked like a gravel open lot. There were a few pull-thru - I took one of them and tried my surge protector at the power post. And...

Tip for Other Campers:
There is BLM land south of Tonopah that I went to after a few days. It's adjacent to the BLM office and easy to find. The road in is well-graveled,
