Brian McG answered a Question for Wagner Park in Barnesville, MN
2 years ago

Question: Can you make reservations. If so how far out can you make reservatioins.

Answer:

You must go through the city office that administers the park. The park is no longer listed on ReserveAmerica.com, and the park website still has no reservation functionality. Your best bet is to either send them an email (camp@wagnercampground.com) or call (218) 354-2292....

We were looking for a place to take our new trailer on a dry run for a few days after purchasing it. At $80 a night, it's among the more expensive places in the area. We were grateful they offer a...

Tip for Other Campers:

If you decide to stay here, see if you can ask for a site on the west side. It looks like there are more trees over there, and being farther from the highway might keep it a little quieter. Bring your own WiFi (i.e. Phone hotspot), since, like most RV parks, the WiFi here is slow and unreliable.

Fantastic place. Very quiet, low-key, and off the beaten path. Combination of paved pads and dirt/gravel. There are a lot of long-term residents, but the staff is very friendly to people like us who...

If you're interested in fishing or catching crawfish, ask for a spot on the water. Some spots even have little wood piers you can fish from.

Nice clean park, but lots of highway noise. The pull-through site we had was probably the easiest in & out experience we've had this entire trip. But we didn't get much sleep, because of constant...

There are limited sites here, so reservations are crucial, especially in peak times of the year. All spots are within walking distance of the beach, but the beach area itself also has a parking lot....

Tip for Other Campers:

If you're headed to the beach from the RV sites, take a left at the stop sign and follow the road around. It opens up to a beach where vehicles are allowed. Follow the beach north for a quarter mile or so and park. There are two big granite jetties sticking out into the water. The sand between them affords you more privacy than just going to the regular...
