Tip for Other Campers:
Rode our bikes a little over 2 miles to the US Corp of Engineers Visitor Center. Arrived an hour before opening and watch ships go through the Locks in St Mary River between Lake Superior and Lake Huron. Highly recommend!

Tip for Other Campers:
Close to Picture Rocks Natl Lakeshore West Side. A long drive to the East Side and longer the the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. Suggest a few nights on both ends of the park.

Convenient to the Mackinaw Island Ferries. Bike trail to Mackinaw City. Limited groceries available in town.
Roads can be confusing and narrow. Pay close attention when the front office gives directions!
