Tip for Other Campers:
Maria recommended Gilligan's seafood restaurant- it was very good. Campground is about 20-25 minutes from downtown historic Charleston, but easy drive on US 17 there (except for traffic, of course).

Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Natchez! Beautiful homes, river walk was very nice, lots of places to shop and eat. (Just as a side note - we went to Tupelo MS from here and took the Natchez Trace all the way there. It was two-lane, but not very much traffic. Plenty of room for our RV on the road. Some bicyclists, but not an issue. Very pleasant, relaxing drive/ride.)

Great staff! Very clean, easily accessible to interstate. Site and hookups were very good. We camped at Blue Heron RV Park in a Motorhome.
