Wed Oct 30 2024How's the weather like in the area on the first 2 weeks of December? Trying to avoid snow as we drive from Las Vegas to this campground....

We have been here at that time and no snow. May catch a little bit up in Flagstaff, but not much as we saw. But, you never know with weather....

We also have been to Verde Valley in Dec. And while it can get cold they really have very little snow during any month. If you avoid Flagstaff you should not have any snow (use AZ 89 south from Ashfork thru Prescott Valley/ Prescott via Fain Rd to AZ 69 to Az 169 to I-17 north to 260). That is the way we have used for at least 10 years when returning from Oregon to AZ for the winter....
