Stone Mountain Park Campground

There are no campgrounds really close to Six Flags Atlanta. Stone Mountain Campground is a very nice park, but it is on the opposite side of the city from Six Flags. Still, it is about as close as you can get, unless you want to go to the Marietta RV Park. At least that is on the same side of the city as Six Flags....

I'm a life long resident near Stone Mountain Park (currently in Charleston SC) and I would stay at SMP for Six Flags over Georgia. I'm not familiar with any campgrounds near Six Flags, but you are about a 37 mile drive between both. You could enjoy the natural beauty of SMP with easy access to Atlanta attractions (Aquarium, Ball parks, Centennial Park) all within a drive. I had a season pass to both parks, my children and now my grands have season passes to both parks. I believe SMP is your best option for metro ATL...
