    Is this KOA also restrictive to some large breed dogs, i.e. Shepards, Doberman, and a couple of others? It's the main reason we can't go to any KOA's....

      Jerry having traveled all over the nation as full time RVer....we've seen many restricted breeds in RV parks. I believe in many parks if they're well behaved dogs, don't show aggression and are on a leash then it's not so much an issue. The breed restrictions are mandated by the liability insurance companies.....as a result of previous settlement pay outs. At least that was the case in the apartment industry that I worked in before I retired. Gouldings Lodge RV Park is very close to this KOA and is a much nicer RV Park. This will be a very nice KOA once they finish getting it developed. The owners were very nice as was the manager, also....

      Jerry, we currently do not have a dog so I did not notice dog restrictions for this park, Normally RV parks list pet restrictions on their website or you can call the park's office directly. We did not check out Gouldings Lodge RV Park, but this KOA is a nice 'desert style' RV Park. Nice manager and staff. The only restriction I recall is that you cannot wash your RV or tow vehicle because this park is on tribal lands. This park is quiet and is very close to the Monument Valley entrance and has beautiful views....
