Very austere. Basic amenities. Gravel. Great view.
You pay for the location. Few alternatives. We camped at Monument Valley KOA Journey in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Horse ride tours next to KOA, can rent Jeeps also at KOA. Decent steak restaurant in Mexican Hat. Things to see: Mexican Hat rock, Gooseneck, Natural Bridge, Monument Valley and Valey of the Gods be sure you have a good clearance vehicle or 4x4 as these roads are very rough.

Question:
Is this KOA also restrictive to some large breed dogs, i.e. Shepards, Doberman, and a couple of others? It's the main reason we can't go to any KOA's....

“Easy access to Monument Valley ”
Nightly Rate: $100 USD
No frills campground with level sites and W/S/E. Staff was great and it is very close for Monument Valley tours, self guided our tours. We camped at Monument Valley KOA Journey in a Fifth Wheel.
