      Pretty much the whole campground is big rig friendly. Depending on when you're planning to stay, I would recommend that you stay on the east side of the loops. The mosquitos on the western sides were terrible when we were there in July, but were fine where we were (east side of the N loop). You definitely don't want to be near one of the lakes. Bring your bikes and take some time to climb around on the old fort. It's an amazing park!...

      Pretty much what KyKampers says. Also, plan on it raining as the weather can get pretty wet there. Take a look at campsite photos.com. This will give you photos of the sites that you compare to the park map and give you a good idea if the site will work for you. Hope this helps you. And if you are a “Goonies” fan, stop by the information center in Astoria. Good info on the town and Goonie stuff....

      Aloha: As others have mentioned, Fort Stevens is a huge facility with several dozen sites that should accommodate a 40ft 5th wheel. The park's registration website does a pretty good job describing the depth of individual sites. I also agree with my fellow campers to try to pick a site away from marshy areas, to expect that it will rain, and to bring your bikes....
